ICA Leather‑branded leather is the result of a process controlled with absolute precision, where every parameter is analyzed, measured and certified to guarantee impeccable performance. Our attention to detail translates into an advanced traceability system that monitors the entire production cycle: in this way every hide has a true identity card that gathers detailed information on its origin, processing and technical characteristics.
All production stages undergo visual inspections and laboratory tests carried out by our specialized personnel using state‑of‑the‑art measuring instruments. Hygrometers, calipers and spectrophotometers are used to verify essential parameters such as color uniformity, thickness and moisture level, ensuring that the leather meets the highest aesthetic and technical standards.
In our in‑house laboratory, we subject each item to rigorous tests to verify its physical and mechanical performance. Light fastness, abrasion resistance, flex resistance, rubbing and tear resistance, finish adhesion and fire resistance: each parameter is tested according to the strictest industry standards. For specific needs and to ensure compliance with international regulations, we also work with certified external laboratories to perform advanced physico‑chemical analyses.
